Implementation process

Bluebee ERP implementation process

The Bluebee ERP implementation process uses an approach focused on simplicity, agility and efficiency. Here is an example of a typical ERP implementation process. This process can be adapted to your specific needs.

  1. Step 1

    Needs analysis

The needs analysis stage helps identify your company's specific needs. A Bluebee implementation consultant will meet with you to review your business processes. Together you will then determine the approach to take to best address the issues that arise.

  2. Step 2

    Execution strategy

At this point, the project team must be put in place and tasks distributed. Next, usage choices must be made based on your identified primary needs and best practices. This is followed by the tactical deployment plan (who will do what, when).

  3. Step 3

Development of identified customizations (if applicable)

When a specific need is identified, one of the solutions to address it is to adapt the software to the need. In this case, Bluebee's developers can either modify existing functions or even create new ones from scratch.

  4. Step 4

    Data transfer

Although you may not have a complete ERP software on hand, you certainly hold a significant amount of crucial information in your database. The Bluebee team will help you convert this data to your new environment via simple import tools such as Excel.

  5. Step 5

    Training and testing

Bluebee favors the "Train the trainer" approach. It is suggested to choose a few "super users" who will receive intensive training of up to a few days so they can answer their colleagues' questions once the software is in place. It is also suggested to offer more general training to the other users to ease the adaptation period. In parallel, users should get involved in testing the new ways of doing things to validate the approach chosen by the project team and also help themselves move from theory to practice.

  6. Step 6

    Go-live

Once all the tests are complete and the data is updated, it is time to go into production. This stage will be planned in advance and we will be at your side so that everything goes smoothly.

  7. Step 7

    Follow-up and post-installation training

Once the final installation is done, questions often arise. All the staff who worked with you during the implementation stages remain available to you post-installation. Whether it is about usage questions or other matters, the Bluebee team is always there to support you.
